Nimbu paani (Indian lemonade)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1ΒΌ cups water

For garnishing

  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 lemon slices
  • 3-4 ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • In a glass, add the sugar, lemon juice and chaat masala. Mix well with a spoon and add the water
  • Stir well again so that the sugar completely dissolves in the water. Refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes or longer
  • Serve your delicious and refreshing nimbu paani (Indian lemonade) along with some ice cubes, mint leaves and lemon slices. Cheers!

Notes

  • The recipe is for one serving. You can multiply it for more number of servings
  • You could replace the sugar with a sweetener of your choice, if you wish
  • I like an equal proportion of lemon juice and sugar in my nimbu paani. If you like yours sweeter, increase the proportion of your sweetener
  • tsp - teaspoon
  • tbsp - tablespoon
  • 1 cup = 250 millilitres
