Pomegranate basil virgin mojito

An absolutely pretty and tasty summer refresher, this pomegranate basil mojito is sure to bring cheer to your summer vibes this season

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp fresh pomegranate pearls
  • 6-8 fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tbsp lime/lemon juice
  • 2-3 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • 500 ml sparkling water
  • ice cubes to taste
For garnishing
  • 2 lime wedges
  • 3-4 mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp fresh pomegranate pearls

Equipment

  • muddler

Method
 

  1. In a glass, muddle together the pomegranate pearls, basil leaves, lime juice, honey until well crushed
  2. Divide and pour this into two separate tall glasses, add in the ice cubes and pour in the sparkling water in each glass. Stir to mix well
  3. Garnish with a wedge of lime, some mint leaves and fresh pomegranate pearls and serve chilled. Cheers!
