Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp plain flour maida
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Nutella
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1-2 tbsp walnuts chopped
To garnish (optional)
  • 1-2 tbsp icing sugar
  • strawberries halved
  • walnuts chopped

Method
 

  1. In a microwave safe mug, mix all the dry ingredients - flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, baking powder and walnuts
  2. Add the milk, oil, vanilla essence and mix throughly so that no dry patch appears. Add the Nutella in the centre of the batter and microwave on high for 60 to 90 seconds
  3. Remove, dust with icing sugar and top with more walnuts and strawberries. Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy your chocolate Nutella mug cake
