Mango Iced Tea

Quick, easy and flavored with the goodness of mangoes, this mango iced tea is what you'd want to be sipping on a summer day!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 English breakfast tea bags
  • 8 cups water
  • 4 cups mango pulp
  • ½ cup mangoes chopped
  • 10-12 mint leaves
  • ice as required

Equipment

  • Glass pitcher

Method
 

  1. Add the tea bags to the pitcher and pour in the water. Let it steep for 2-3 hours or 4-6 hours if you like your tea stronger
  2. Add ice cubes to a glass and pour in ½ cup of mango pulp, 2-3 tbsp chopped mangoes, a cup of cold brewed tea and a few mint leaves. Stir well and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Instead of the tea bags you could use 4 tbsp Indian loose tea leaves
  • The process of cold brewing your tea will ensure that the tea doesn't turn bitter
  • Add simple syrup/honey/maple syrup to your tea if you like it sweeter
  • 1 cup = 250 milliliters
  • tbsp - tablespoon
  • tsp - teaspoon
