A quick, easy and extremely delicious mango salsa recipe flavored with Indian masalas that a must try this summer season. Pairs great with chips, grilled fish, tacos etc

"Fresh mango salsa - www.kitchenmai.com"

So, as promised earlier, I have for you another quick and easy summer recipe of a salsa. Sauce in Mexican cuisine, is called salsa, which is generally made using raw vegetables. While the tomato one is very popular, I have made a salsa with ripe mangoes. Mango is a very special summer fruit, and this salsa truly reflects the season’s feels. I have teamed up this bright and colorful bowl of my quick and easy mango salsa with tortilla chips. However, they taste very yummy own their own as well.

Besides being so delectable, this is a super quick recipe. When mangoes are in season, you could include this salsa as an appetizer, in your next house party. You will be able to make the salsa in under 15 minutes! How amazing is that? You could also refrigerate it for half an hour before you serve. This will allow all the flavors to mingle in well. This no cook salsa recipe is pretty addictive and once you make it, it is going to be made on repeat. That’s a promise. 🙂

Flavour bomb

Along with mangoes, the salsa has got peppers, fresh coriander, chaat masala and black salt. The ripe mangoes impart sweetness, the peppers add a lovely flavour and crunch, lime juice a delicious freshness and chilli flakes add the extra kick of heat.  So, when you dig into this refreshing salsa, you are going to experience a burst of flavors. This quick and easy mango salsa is seasoned very lightly, so as to keep the fresh flavors of the fruit and veggies intact. This is an absolute summer delight. Refreshing, cool, healthy and delicious – just how you would want a summer salsa to be.

Food combinations

While I had my first batch of mango salsa for the season with some tortilla chips, the possibilities of pairing it with anything else is endless. It is a great snack to have when you have friends over. Quickly chop and assemble the ingredients, chill and serve with your favourite nachos. You could, also, have this quick and easy mango salsa with some grilled chicken or fish, in tacos, in pasta salads or pan fried fishes. Here is how I had them in my tacos. In fact, I so love this one, that I can simply have a bowl of it just as is. I don’t really always need this salsa as a dip or a side. This serves as a quick and healthy mid-evening snack, too, for me.  Moreover, to make the most of the mango season, I always have a batch of it ready in my fridge, as a munching option for me.

Now, let me take you to the lovely recipe of this mango salsa. I hope you are going to make it and devour it with your loved ones. Do drop me line with your feedback, when you try this out. You could also share your food picture with me over on Instagram.

Eat hearty!
