So many times we want to give in to our cravings for sweet, but hold ourselves back counting the calories. However, moving toward a healthier lifestyle shouldn’t mean no desserts. To satisfy your sweet cravings and also keeping in mind health, here is my quick, creamy and simple frozen strawberry yoghurt recipe.
This quick fix dessert truly captures the wholesomeness of strawberries along with the virtues of yoghurt.
Besides, this frozen goodness is a yummy snack too. What’s even better, you need only three ingredients to whip it up. This is a vegetarian and an eggless dessert, but you could very easily make a vegan version of this one too. Simply, substitute the yoghurt with a non-dairy one and the honey with agave or maple syrup.
This frozen yoghurt tastes slightly more tart than an ice cream but is incredibly creamy. To reduce the tartness that the fruit imparts, you could increase the amount of the sweetener. And if you are someone like me, who likes it punchy, you could add some lemon juice.
This is a very simple and fun recipe and you could even involve your kids in the process of making it. Have it as a snack, or after your meals or even serve it to guests at home – this is indeed a heart winner!
Moreover, this frozen deliciousness is a fantastic way to get your kids to have fruits if they don’t yet. And not only kids, even non-fruit lovers will definitely fall for this one 🙂
This strawberry dessert has such a soothing colour and when topped with the chopped berries – it really is an eye candy!
So follow the simple steps to get going with this yummy, healthy sweet dish!
