Let me confess to you that dark chocolate and anything with it is my weakness! So, when I crave for some, this very easy and quick dark chocolate mouse is my life saver. In fact, I could also term this as my comfort food. And this recipe is what I am sharing here.
This beautiful, melt-in-the-mouth dark rum-infused chocolate mousse is absolutely a child’s task to whip up! Also, you won’t need any eggs (yes its eggless) and can be made with ingredients easily available at home.
This is a dessert that you can make when you have guests over for dinner or want to woo a loved one – everybody will love it!
I also like adding frozen fruits to the mousse. It not only lifts the look of this chocolaty gorgeousness but also elevates the taste. I feel fruits and chocolate are a mind blowing combination. It could be berries and chocolate, bananas and chocolate, mango and chocolate and many more. These are such amazing combinations of complementary textures and tastes.

Moving on to the recipe, I have chosen to use dark rum and dark chocolate. However, you could easily omit the alcohol and/or substitute the dark chocolate with semi-sweet or milk chocolate. The recipe procedure will remain the same.
Whenever you are making this for children leave out the alcohol.
This dessert gets even better. Knowing that dark chocolate has tons of nutritious quality (yayyyy!) as well.Did you know it is loaded with minerals, full of antioxidants and could also help reduce heart diseases.
Let’s get going with the recipe of this mouth watering gorgeousness!
