While avocado dips are already very popular, this avocado and coriander dip is how I love mine. This one is slightly spicy, very garlicky, tangy and creamy! The heat comes from the fresh chillis, the tang from the generous squeeze of lemon and the silken texture from the avocados. All the flavours I look for in a dip or chutney. Also, the other main component, coriander, adds the much needed fresh fragrance to it. Moreover, since this is a no cook recipe, it comes together in no time. You simply will need to blitz all the ingredients to enjoy your yummy dip. Additionally, you can keep this as chunky or as smooth as you would like it. Doesn’t it sound like a total winner of a recipe?
The beauty of this dip is, it works very well even as a chutney or a spread, too. Not only can use this to dip your crackers in, but you can also slather some on your toasts or even on your burger buns. My avocado and coriander dip is that versatile! In fact, I have replaced the mayonnaise in my burgers ever since I’ve made this dip. That means, yet another step to eating clean and healthy. Furthermore, another of my favourite combinations with this one is a generous helping of this avocado spread over a sourdough slice. Oh, that is heaven! 🙂
So, you see, there is simply no dearth in the ways you can mop this delicious and healthy avocado dip up!

So easy
Like I mentioned earlier, this is a very easy, no cook recipe. What is even better is that, it is made with all easily available ingredients. Hence, there is just no excuse for you to not try this one. And with my experience, everyone, from kids to adults, love this condiment. Also, you could try your own variation with this one, as well. For instance, you could replace the coriander or cilantro with basil leaves, garnish it with some chili oil, alter the texture (chunky/smooth) etc. And I bet, you will love all variations you try. This is a very forgiving recipe and one where you can also get your kids involved in. Since, you won’t be using the stove top, it is pretty safe to ask them to participate. A great recreational and bonding time activity. 🙂
However, make sure to buy the perfectly ripe avocados for your dip. After all, it is the creaminess of the fruit that leads to the silken texture of this condiment. Although even the extra virgin olive oil in the recipe helps, using the perfect avocado is imperative.
I hope you are going to give my avocado dip recipe a try, and are also going to enjoy it. And if you do, do drop me a line with your feedback in the comment section. It will be great if you could also rate the recipe.
Also, I’d love to hear what you paired your dip up with.
Eat hearty!
