What if I told you, that you could whip up an incredible appetiser in 15 minutes? Yes, these uber delicious herby stir fried garlic mushrooms are just that. These yummy, flavoursome mushrooms are a super quick and easy stir fry recipe. Moreover, not only are these so tasty, but mushrooms are super nutritious too. They are low in calories and are a good source of fibre. And since, I have merely stir fried these, I have been able to retain most of their goodness. Additionally, even garlic does wonders to your health. So, this herby stir fried garlic mushrooms’ recipe is a flavours and taste packed one.

I love making these when I am going to having guests home. They are quick to make and are loved by everyone. These lightly fried goodies, pair very well with a good glass of wine. Moreover, they go amazingly well along side grilled meats and/or fishes. Alternatively, I make these for myself, when I don’t want to cook an elaborate meal. These herby stir fried garlic mushrooms with some salad and garlic bread are perfect for my lazy weekend meals. Moreover, on a very busy day when I don’t have time to cook, these mushrooms are a lifesaver. So, they are a perfect weeknight dinner too.

Quick, easy and healthy

I have already told you that this is a very quick stir fry recipe. Besides, it is a pretty easy one too. No cutting or chopping much to do here or preparing an elaborate sauce. While, these can be made in butter as well, I have opted to take the healthier route. I have made them in olive oil. However, if you wish to enhance the taste even more and prefer a buttery goodness, then you good go ahead and use some unsalted butter.

The only leeway that I have taken here is, with using white wine. Although not a lot of it, just about two tablespoons. But, that is completely optional. If you wish to do away with the wine calories or choose not to use alcohol, it is absolutely fine. You could very well use water instead.

Both of which, come together to create magic along with the flavours of the mushrooms themselves. And if you are someone who isn’t such a fan of these gems, wait until you try this recipe out. You are going to love it and will be making it over and over again. And if you already love mushrooms, like I do, you will have yet another treat for yourself.
